Exploring the Very Gay Gold Coast

On any given day (average 300 days of sunshine a year)…the Gold Coast is gay. A happy place to play, shop, dine, relax, dance, surf, swim and fly around.

Just ask David, who recently took his out-of-town guests for a Tiger Moth Joy Ride over Dreamworld, the Q1 Tower, and Surfers Paradise

"The Gold Coast is not over run with gay spots, but through my eyes and those of my lesbian and gay visitors, the region is a hot destination.  Welcome to my gay world."

Dave's Tasty Tips
  1. Songbirds Rainforest Retreat, Mt Tamborine  Songbirds boasts a unique health spa, award winning restaurant and luxury accommodation.
  2. Vanitas - Palazzo Versace, Main Beach.  They even publish their own cookbook of award-winning recipes.
  3. Tropical Fruit World (farm) and Ferry Road Markets (in Southport).  Shop and eat, exotics to gourmet goodies.

Gay Gold Coast is a traveller-to-traveller blog about things to see and do in southern Queensland's Gold Coast region.

Locals and visiting bloggers welcome to contribute favorite spots, attractions, reviews and events - and especially photos and videos of lesbians and gays at play, at events, at theme parks.

Submit entries for our bloggers competition and win valuable prizes from Gold Coast tourism supporters.

1. Hinterland food and wine trails are not to be missed.
2. If you like fine liquors, don't miss the Tamborine Mountain Distillery.
