From the Aqua to L'Aqua Spa. Simply Refreshing.

If you live in the Gold Coast Tourism Region or have visited there, please share your secrets about the best places to stay, play, shop and dine - and the lesser known but must-see spots, attractions and tours!

Fabulous February Gift
The first person to post a creative review on the Gay Gold Coast Facebook Fan Page wins
1 hour massage at L’Aqua Day Spa at Watermark Hotel
in Surfers Paradise on the Gay Gold Coast map.

After a day at Surfers Paradise Beach in the sparkling water, I walked a block to the Watermark Hotel for a spa treat at L'Aqua Day Spa, (a peaceful sanctuary on level 2).  My skin was feeling dehydrated after several weeks of beach bumming and flying here there and everywhere in low humidity airplanes.

Thanks to Sylvie's talented hands and skin treatise, I had the best facial of my life and walked away with indulgent cleansing, toning and hydrating products to keep me looking young and fresh.  (I'm neither.)
Spa Escapes for Couples
Treating oneself to a spa wellbeing ritual is becoming very popular with both men and woman and for couples.  Be sure to include some "me time" or "our time" on your next visit to the Gold Coast.  You don't have to stay at the Watermark to book the day spa, but you do need an appointment as they are very busy from sun up to sun down.  Book early if you want the Decadent Spa Ritual for Couples...110 minutes for $399 or the Massage Retreat for Two...70 minutes for $220.

I was nuts to not to try the Red Wine Luxury bath ($69) and the Chocolate Indulgence ($240).  Next time!

Ask Dee: Sisters of Swing Golf Tourney

Rainbow Tourism Pick for March Events in Gold Coast Australia:

Q.     I heard the dates for the ANZ Ladies Masters “Sisters of Swing” golf tournament have changed.  I’ll be in Gold Coast in March, will I be in luck?

A.  Yes, there’s been a DATE CHANGE for the ANZ LADIES MASTERS  The new dates are 4 - 7 March at RACV Royal Pines Resort, Gold Coast.

Every lesbian golfer in QLD and beyond will probably be there, so great eye candy - both the players and the spectators!  Queensland can boast a piece of golfing history following today’s confirmation that the 2010 ANZ Ladies Masters has secured the strongest field ever assembled for a golf tournament in this country. The prestigious event, to be contested at the RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Queensland’s Gold Coast between the 4 and 7 March has confirmed the appearance of three of the four major champions from 2009.
